Anything out there like the Meg's mop?

So I was looking at reviews of wash mitts, and saw that the highest rated product was Meg's Super Plush Wash Mop. I thought, "Cool, I could wash the roof of our SUV and van without getting on the ladder!" Of course, Meg's has discontinued it, and not even eBilk has any. Is there anything out there that performs similarly?

I have some Peak MF towels, and they're pretty poor, and the SM Arnold mop is made of Acrylic, which doesn't sound too good either.



BTW, Auto Barn has replacement heads for the Meg's mop on closeout for 2 bucks, but no mops, and they have a proprietary fitting that won't work on standard extension handles.

I went with the Versa Angle Body Brush for doing the roof of my truck. Gives me just that extra foot or so to reach it without leaning on the roof.



Truck is black and so far no marring, I make sure to really clean the brush after washings.

I have that same Megs brush that's posted above. I only use it on my wife's mini-van but so far so good.



I got it at Big Lots for less than $10.

I have a cotton chenille truck mop that I got from Top of the Line but the one I have has been discontinued and they now sell a different truck mop. I also have one of their boar’s hair truck brushes



Griot’s has a microfiber mop. They also have a Boar’s hair truck brush.

Even with the Meguiar's name on it, I'd be scared of using a brush on my black BMW paint. Griot's looks closest, but they don't come cheap, that's for sure.

It's not a brush- it has a foam pad that you wrap with a type of synthetic wool wash mit. (At least mine is that way)

I was referring to the "Versa Angle Wash Brush" that Red98gt listed in his post. It definitely looks like a bristle brush to me. The one you have is, unfortunately, discontinued.

Hakko... The brush only gets used on the roof/back window of my truck. It's very soft for a brush but I wouldn't use it on other parts of the truck.



I'm short and even with a ladder I can't reach the center of the roof nor the middle of the back window. Have a tonneau cover on the bed so I can't "get in the bed" to reach the roof.



It's a black truck so it does show everything and I like to think I keep it "Autopian" shiney!



here are a couple pics of it. What looks like dusting in the second picture is actually the metalflake in the paint. Just shows up weird in the pictures.

So I happened to be in Autozone today and what do you know? They had a chenille microfiber mop with collapsible pole for $10. Woohoo. :woot: Weather permitting I'll wash the wife's Odyssey tomorrow, so I should be able to give a brief review.
