WEll the situation is I have a 99 xtreme that i want to get a 4x8 trailer. I want to run like a 90 gallon water tank, or i want to do 2 50-65 gallon tanks. Reason being is that if i really dont need the 90 gallons of water, if it is not full that is a whole lot of extra weight and water sloushing.

My problem is the trailer part. I stopped looking at those cheap ones that i was thinking about, and started to look at more decent ones. I found one made by a company snobear and it is really nice, but the tires are 12" on it. Most 4x8s I see dont come with bigger tires than that, or am i just not looking in the right place?

The guy at the trailer place who only sells 5x8 heavy duty ones says that a trailer with that tire wont be able to haul like a total of 900 lbs. I figure the water my generator and pressure washer, rest in the back of bed. Any of you guys running smaller trailers with some weight and not have problems with the tires or the tonuge?

My trailer is made by Bear Motorsports. I have a 100 gallon tank and 20 gallons in 5 gallon jugs up front. Even fully loaded it rides like a dream....you can barely feel the water move when I stop (I attribute that to the square tank). It has 14" wheels fitted with 195/60 tires.

Start asking around those trailer dealer about the axle weight. Try and find some with 1200lb axles or I think it's 2000 lb axles also. I've been surfing around seeing what people use and looking to get one next year maybe. It will be interesting to see what everyone else uses here. I know my neighbors trailers have 15 inch wheels with two axles. the open one will haul 2400 lb and the enclosed will haul 4 or 6000 lb I believe. That trailer you mentioned won't be able to hual anymore than the water isnce water weighs about 8 lbs per gallon. Also your idea with having 2 tanks instead of 1 tank. You my want to think about those dividers that can be put into water tanks to keep the water from sloshing around, then you could just fill the 100 gallon tank half full and not be much of a problem drivingaround with it.

hmm great idea about the divider, the one i was looking at was the snobear model trailer. 1 Clean WS6 I really like your setup and wish i could afford on like that. But with 2 mobile units going in the spring hopefully, my budget is kinda tight. I just want a trailer that can carry water, generator and pressure washer for now and then upgrade to a really nice one like yours. I really really like your setup, thanks for the reply to both of you.

I have a 5x10 trailer with a 3500 lb axle. It also has 15 inch tires. It is made of angle iron, and has a wood bottom. I have a 100 gallon tank, gen. power washer air compressor, and tool box. I also built a metal box around my tank to I can have a place for advertisement. I have made all my equipment removeable if for some reason I need to use the trailer to haul other things. I paid around 600 for the trailer, Ill try to email you some before and after pics.
