Anyone want to test products imported from Japan

I was searching google for pictures and found Autofreaks. Autofreaks sell Soft 99 products from Japan. Maybe one of are Californian members would like to considering Autofreaks is located in Torrance, CA, but do mail order.

Theveed uses fusso coat from Soft99.

You might be better off without them. Sometimes when Japanese companies translate to english, it becomes even more confusing.

Cluck exampel for her!

Lots of Soft99 products here (Philippines).

Yes, theveed has tried fusso coat. According to him, great beading, and pretty long lasting (impressive, considering our climate conditions, pollution, and acid rain here in Manila).

Watch out for theveed's test: on his hood, he planned a Meg 26 half, and the other half with fusso.

I've tried clay from Soft99... what I find funny is that they always seem to have waxes for dark colored cars, and a different one for light colored cars. Even their clay: one for wheels, one for windows/glass, one for dark colored cars, one for light colored cars....

Too bad I don't read japanese... So far, only clay I've used is Soft99. Can't compare it with others yet....

Also, if you are in the L.A. area, there is a shop in Little Tokyo that carries Soft99 products. I believe the store is also called Auto Freaks (same company?) located in the Mitsuwa mall. The shop mostly sells boy racer accessories (blue lights, air fresheners, decals et al.), but it has an aisle of Japanese import car care products. Worth checking out if you are looking for some new product to try.

They have a few Soft99 products here. I couldn't get my hands on anything I knew so I choose one product called "Kizz-Clear". I don't read Japanese so I couldn't tell you all the propaganda or the instructions but they do have pictorial instructions. I think it's some kind of sealant but I can't be sure. After reading all the posts I realize that there are different products for different stages and this seems to fit with a sealant type. I think it also says not to wax for 24 hours after application....would this be correct? It also says it contains urethane. I've tried it on just a section of the wing and it seems to work decently...it's suppose to be a swirl cover-upper. This is the only product I've used so far from Soft99.

I'd like to try some of the Soft99 products out...

Anyone know which ones are worth trying for dark colored cars?

Bests,

Chris

Those sure are some pretty bottles. I think I found a new thing to put on my christmas list this year (too frivolous for my normal life, but excellent fun/novelty value).

But, if the paste wax is only $12 once it gets to Los Estados Unidos...is this stuff cheaper than TW?
