Anyone want to go in and split 5 gallons of Valugard ProGuard with me?

This stuff will neutralize magnesium chloride, the white "salt lines" they are now spraying on the roads.

You would want to mix the wash with water (at some ratio) and put into a garden type sprayer, then spray the undercarriage/paint, let dwell for a few minutes and wash off. Should get rid of rusting problems.

ValuGard only sells it as a 5 and 55 gallon container. I will order and divide up and reship. I don't have a cost yet but I assume it'll be somewhere around $35/gallon based on their other products.

Once you get your free sample, try it, then if you feel it does what they say, suggest that you then share the results with others.

If enough email or call them, wanting to buy it, they may package it in a smaller container size, same with the ABC system.

They are OEM and volume oriented, not to individual's with one or two vehicles.

Just a heads up and as many decades old company, know who their market is.

Yes you can, just be sure to talk to Beth.

This works like a charm :D

I've been hard-selling the "ABC" over on the MercuryMarauder Forums, telling people not to worry about them being "all pro-oriented"; just ask for Beth and tell her who referred you.

I ordered my ABC kit the other day and it shipped today. I'm really interested to use the whole process.

Let that "B" dwell, it's not as potent as you'd think (or as some of us would like). Wear gloves though.

Indeed. Beth has taken good care of me, as I suspect she would even if I didn't know Ron, but that extra connection never hurts to have :)

C. Charles Hahn- Plus, I figure the whol "!big Pro supplier!" thing seems less intimidating when people feel they have an "inside track". And Beth is a perfect person for that job, in every respect I can think of.

She is great. Sent me a sample of Fast Finish months ago too, and also she's including samples of ProGard truck wash with the ABC kit.

So what do you think of the FF? I tell ya..I simply *LOVE* that stuff on black plastics/etc. Gotten to where I'm doing a near-concours wipedown of the engine compartment and undercarriage with it at every wash just because I like the overall effect so much. Gets better over time too, what with all those applications of it...doesn't seem to all wash off the way I'd expected it to.

I've really only used it so far as a quick wax for touchups in small areas after I do a real wax. Need to try it in some more places I guess.

I used to spray the entire car down with FF. Going to try it on plastics as suggested. Thanks!

With apologies to Ketch, I just don't like the FF on my paint or wheels. Maybe it's my LSP, maybe it's just me, but it just doesn't wow me the way my other QDs do (FK stuff.. which Ketch considers [crap], Griot's SpeedShine, and the wonderful old version of EF's Clear Pearl)....I don't like the look or the feel or the dirt shedding.

Kinda funny, I think it's the perfect spray product for some surfaces but can't stand it on others :nixweiss
