Yeah, same thing. Some of em do look like plastic cigarettes but other systems look all sci-fi/steampunk.

I rarely see people even smoking cigarettes in public these day. The town I live in even banned it from the beach and some park areas.

Strange the only place I really see people smoke is the employees of a health food store on their breaks!!

Im guessing people are afraid to smoke e-cigarettes in public here for fear of offending people or maybe its not that popular where I live.

i think I have seen these kind of things in peoples cars before and wrongly thought they were some kind of drug paraphernaliai.
 
I live in the South and smoking is still fairly prevalent here. There are even plenty of cigarette butt receptacles outside stores in strip malls

Still lots of smokers in Ohio, but an increasing % of them appear to be, uhm...in the lower socio-economic demographic.

And nurses. And my *pulmonologist* claims to still enjoy the occasional Marlboro! My internist smokes cigars when on the golf course.

Note that one can vape cannabis; it might *be* drug paraphernalia after all!

RANT: so many smokers simply flick their (filtered) butts away, littering up everyplace. Gross, rude, inexcusable. At least with vaping that shouldnt be much of an issue. (My wife and I carried pocket ashtrays, or Id "field-strip" non-filters.)

I dont know how people can afford to smoke any more.

A pack of day habit in NY is a car payment. Its crazy.

Be for I quit the cigs for vaping I was rolling my own. I would buy a 1lb bag of tobacco and 2 cartons of tubes. I had the cool little machine that used to stuff the tubes. Worked really good and only cost me 20 bucks a month.

Actually preferred the roll your own to store bought cigs after a while. I used to love camels too.

yg1829- Yeah, Accumulatorette smokes some analogs on special occasions and I bought em for her the last time- Yikes!! Pricey indeed!

I too rolled my own at one point, Id mix various tobaccos to get just the flavor I wanted.

When I was a smoker I drove to Mexico to buy 2 dollar cartons of cigarettes and plenty of vodka and kalua too.

Wow that took me back 30 years!:D

I am so squeaky clean now!

Wow to everything you said!

Personally I dont consider cannabis a drug ,maybe a medicinal drug. I dont partake but would in a hearbeat if I can cancer or some illness I thought it would be a helpful cure.
 
THC is the drug in pot, like nicotine is the drug in tobacco. Both should be legal. I have always said cigarettes are worse for you than marijuana. Of course it depends upon the amount you ingest. Legalize pot and tax it like booze and butts.
 
Nicotine does not cause cancer. The other carp does.

+1 for unflavored Nic. I got so tired of trying new flavors to only get sick of them in a couple days. Tried unflavored and never looked back.

Still has a slight sweet flavor plus it doesnt destroy you coil in a day.

I was able to vape on a wick and coil for quite a while before it got all gunky.

Huh...I just realized I miss vaping way more than I ever missed smoking.

See how different people are?!?

Some folks are all about the nicotine and couldnt care less about some flavor, while others want a specific taste experience or some other smoking-like effect. Not just a matter of "nicotine addicts getting their fix".

Well, the tide is turning with regard to Weed, pretty much just a matter of time now. Especially since that [certain powers that be] are finding more upside to legalization than to continued prohibition.

No, no..its not *really* about protecting people from Big Bad Maryjane, for the most part thats just the "get support from the dummies" argument, the "public face" of it. Prohibition is really about other issues (both societal and economic) and times have changed.
 
Necroing this thread to see if there are enough vapers here. Thinking about starting an official vape thread for discussion, reviews, etc
 
I`m still at it too...but the clock is ticking on my beloved ProVaris. Can`t even get the right kind of 18490s any more. Gonna have to find another system that`s good for mouth-to-lung vaping :( And my fave juice maker changed their stuff (yuck) and then went out of business. REALLY hard to find something I like these days even with the countless choices available. Getting tired of buying a bottle for $X and then tossing it after a few hits.

RaysWay- Sure, a Vaping thread would be good IMO.
 
I upgraded about 3 weeks ago to a Wismec Gen 3 Triple with a Cleito 120 0.16 ohm tank and have been loving it. It goes up to 300 watts but I stay around 90 so far.

I came from an iStick Pico 75w with a Melo 3 tank. The coils would go out about every 1.5 weeks.

Maybe if someone else joins the party I`ll start the official thread.
 
RaysWay- Quick note, busy day...Heh heh, here I am switching back and forth between this Vaping thread and the one on Health and Fitness :o

I used to use the Provari and I am still mouth to lung. I`m using an Alien now with the 2 x 18650s. I use this a lot during the day without changing the batteries. The best mouth to lung atomizer I`ve used is a Kayfun V5 with the seperate air restrictor that they sell. I run at 12 watts on a 1 ohm coil and go a week before rewicking and months on a coil. Juice wise, I like a tobacco flavor that i get from myfreedomsmokes called W blend. It is supposed to taste like Winston. I find it to be pretty close.

Thanks for the info, truly appreciated. I`ll put those setups on my Research List. Sure do like the cylindrical units like the ProVari though...

Heh heh, the MFS W is one that I didn`t like enough to do more than one tankful, but didn`t hate enough to throw away (yet). See how preferences differ?!? Still, that`s a great example of one that`s certainly worth of consideration. Funny I didn`t like it, one of the UltraLight analogs I`d sometimes appreciate was Winston..I never liked their full-strength ones though, so maybe it *does* taste like that and that`s why I don`t like it!).
 
RaysWay- Is there any Cyber-fu you can do to reconcile the two Vaping Threads? Heh heh, no I don`t know what I`m talking about at all or even what I want (not just a merging..).
