Anyone using 'The AirWand'

Hi,

Anyone using this? At first glance (see video on site) it looks quite good.

http://www.airwand.com/

Also, I've never owned any air compressor or blower .. what type of configuration needed to set something like this up. Is there any concern of the wand / blowers blowing out dirt themselves, how do air compressors/blowers give clean air?

Upon seeing Accumulator's review you'll note the need for improvement. I think this can be a really good tool that can gain in popularity if the glitches are worked out and if it is definitive the attachment can work with any basic high MPH leaf blower.

oops .. sorry I missed that, I searched "airwand" and not "air wand"

anyway, i refuse to buy something that pricy if the build quality isn't there

well its a great idea, hopefully they'll improve it

Heh heh, don'thold your breath waiting for improvements ;)

I'd just get it and affect whatever's necessary to bring it up to your required standards. I haven't even gotten around to doing *anything* towards improving mine, which tells me that its build-quality deficiencies aren't all that egregious after all. Heh heh, in the time I spend posting here I could fix the sharp edges on the handle fifty times over [Accumulator decides he really oughta spend the three minutes with a file and sandpaper to smooth the %@&# thing out :o ]

It's kinda funny to me how much I appreciate that thing. Every time I use it I get slightly better (or at least quicker) results and I think "money well spent".

Oh- when I used it on the loaner-Benz, with no decent LSP at the time, it worked *terribly*. Having the vehicle in decent condition makes an incredible difference.
