Anyone used this spot free hose attachment?

Here's how it looks like. More to come :)

That looks very similar to the "Revolutionizer". I bought one about 3-4 years ago off an infomercial on TV. It used the same technology, only it costs me $29.99. It lasted about the same amount of time. It worked pretty good, It was a long cylinder type thing that attached to garden hose sprayer. It looked to have been filled with some sort of black grainy type filtering inside that evenually wore out. I am pretty sure it worked the same way though, it basically de-ionized the water as it passed through the tube. I don't think they are worth the money, they wear out to fast.

Hi DaVW,

Would you mind giving a bit more detail on the Revolutionizer? I would appreciate a bit more in depth information. When you say it worked pretty well, do you mean you only got a couple of water spots or what?

Thanks!

Hey puterbum,

Like I said, the revolutionizer looked the same, I'm guessing approximately 14-16 inches long, about 1 1/2 inches in diameter and it came with a cheap plastic garden hose sprayer that was threaded on the end so the revolutionizer would screw onto. The water came out as a fine mist that sprayed in a fan shape. After a carwash, you would then spray the whole car slowly. Very few spots. I suppose the longer you sprayed the car with revolutionizer, the less spots there would be. Let me see if I can get a pic of it for you. Hope this helps.

To help reduce spots how about drying your car faster. I never really get spots any more since using the leaf blower. I rinse the tar out of it using the method on the carport site where you get the water to sheet. Then I pull the rip cord and start blowing.

No spots no more and I got crappy water that floats lead bricks!!

Tried it (spotfree) this weekend. "Seems" like it's working but need to do more testing. IMO, don't waste your time on this. Wash your car under shade, and use the SHEETING method and/or leaf blower like Guess my Name said is the BEST and fastest way drying the car. If you sheet the water off, I think you can just skip the leaf blower. I haven't had the need to use mine for 4 weeks :)
