anyone used a Ryobi RY25AXB leaf blower to dry a car?

I was looking at the battery powered version, but this is the same price and more powerful. It has an air filter, and pretty good specs. I`m wondering how well it would work for drying a car thought. DBA rating`s a bit loud but it has a quiet mode. The battery one is 100mph and 280cfm. I`m guessing the gas one would be close to that in quiet mode. I know a bunch of people on here use a blower to dry so I thought I`d ask.

i have a ryobi ry40403 40v jet fan blower(480cfm, 110mph) and it puts out a good amt of air, but it weighs a ton. i find my corded weed eater web150 (230cfm, 150mph) weighs half as much, is easier to use, and does a better job.

I use the Ryobi 40v electric blower to blow water out of the crevices and cracks of a car before hand drying the rest. Works very well plus I have a lot of other Ryobi 18v and 40v tools, so the system works for me.

Somehow I`ve made it this far and have never seen one of those. That`s pretty sweet!

The build-quality is *awful* but I love it anyhow. Get a spare hose if you order one..seriously, just do it then ;) Wrap the hose-to-blower/AirWand connections with self-fusing tape too. And file down the mis-fitting halves of the Air Wand and thus avoid little lacerations. And DO NOT ever let their "MF safety strip" touch anything you care about. And reinforce the mountings for the strap if you get their blower. And note that the guy behind the thing has a Day Job or three, and isn`t very prompt about the Customer Service..but he *does* eventually come through though I`ve had to complain through PayPal (which was a smart way to buy the thing for that reason). No, NO..don`t give up on it!

It does take a while to really get the hang of it, but not the dozens of washes it took with the foamgun. Holding your free hand over half the output slot will up the airflow`s force for sideview mirrors/etc. DON`T accidentally let go of the thing ;) And remember to do that taping so it doesn`t let go by itself.

AND most importantly..don`t let all the above put you off! This is another of those things that I`d simply *HATE* to be without..just can`t imagine not having it. It`s just a cheapie manifestation of a really good idea, marketed by a guy with other stuff on his plate. Now if somebody starts selling a better version at 10X the price, well.... but I don`t see that happening.
