Ya i have that pitting too. I have delt with it as you can rarely see it. I plan on getting my hood repainted maybe this summer bause it is really pitted and it bugs me.

I'm sure you can get rid of it by using a more aggressive approach but I'm not willing to compromise my clearcoat to find out.

Yeah, theres nothing short here other than a repaint. In the first picture I always thought that was just sand blast from highway travel...Anthony A said:Those are deep pits. They are clearly visible in the pics so they have to be pretty deep. How much clear coat do you think there is? No way you will polish those out without going through the clear.
