Anyone use Hyper Dressing as an interior dressing?

I am amazed that nobody has either posted up about this, or mentioned this.



I originally bought HD for tires, and really just did not care for it that much. So I had a gallon sitting for a while and decided that I could mix some interior dressing for the tractors/trucks/work vehicles that I do. I mixed it 7:1 with tap water in a small bottle. I apply it the same way as I do any other dressing. Spray on an MF, apply to (well anything on the inside), then flip to buff to a matte shine.



I have used *plenty* of other interior dressings such as MQID, CP, PNL, OPP, 303 etc. I actually still have them all, but I just keep grabbing the 7:1 HD. It looks identical to Cockpit premium, less glossy than 303 or PNL. It does have UV protectants in it. It smells great, and applies easy. The best part, is it's CHEAP. I can make 7 gal of this stuff ( $5.50 a gal) and it lasts forever. I bought the gallon of HD about 2 years ago, and I am just now having to get another one, and I do this full time.



If any of you guys havent tried this, please do, you wont be sorry.
 
I use it on wheel wells and engines mainly. Because it is water based and it doesn't last extremely long and that my interior is vinyl I use M40. It would probably make a great interior dressing because it can be dialed in to the level of gloss you want based on dilution rate.

I agree, we use it here at the shop pretty often. I usually use the satin finish and it is really a very satin look. +1

I agree, Brandon, it's great for interiors.

What I like about it is that it covers evenly with little effort.

A lot of products I've tried can leave "flat" or dull spots (uneven coverage) that

I have to go over again or I really have to work in the product to

get it to finish evenly.



The price is excellent, too, as you mentioned.

A real benefit is that it dries to the touch. I really love this product because it is so versatile. Change the dilution: change the appearance.

agreed. 3:1 in the wells, i never have to wipe them down...
 
I've never used anything but hyperdressing in my interiors since I've gotten it. I mix it differently for exterior and interior applications but the stuff is simply amazing at what it does. And it's cheaper than any other interior product I've come across by a long shot.
 
i recently just made the jump to Megs HD and i couldn't be happier. I like the fact that you can dilute it so if you need something to be a little more glossy and mix it accordingly and the same for having a nice matte finish. It goes a long way and smells awesome!



I use it primarily on wheel wells, plastic trims and interior pieces as well accept stuff like leather.
 
I like it much better (mainly b/c of smell), but you can dilute MS down just as good.



I prefer HD.

Plus, the fine people at Meg's put some kind of magic in this product because I almost never have to wipe it as someone already said. Just throughly wet the surface with this product and allow it to absorb and dry on its own! It even spreads itself out so there is no need for an applicator.
