Anyone use Calyx manifold dressing?

I'd like to hear about experiences with Calyx manifold dressing before I order it. Does it lasts? Does it look good? Could I also use it on my water pump and intake manifold?

Its says its for use on cast iron manifolds. I think most newer cars use painted aluminum manifolds so Im not sure how well it would work?
 
I haven't used mine yet, it's been sitting on the shelf forever :o



But people whose opinions I respect like it even though it's a temporary "dressing" type product.



Concours competitors tell me they use it on things other than exhaust manifolds for a quick fix so I'd go ahead and try it on the other parts (just don't expect it to last forever).



I too wonder about it on aluminum though...and yeah, most intake manifolds are gonna be aluminum these days.
 
I went ahead and ordered it online a little while ago. I have a cast iron intake manifold so perhaps it'll work. I'll keep you all posted.
