Anyone try Pinnacle Safe Scrub

"I coulda had a V-8"
I just got this Pinnacle safe scrub bug & tar remover. It says it is safe for paint & clearcoat finishes and will not scratch paint.

It is very abrasive foam. It sure seems like it would at least cause some swirls. I am leary about using it unless there are some DC faithfuls that have used it sucessfully.

Thanks for the help!

Just like it says in the directions: Use wet with an ABUNDANCE of soap and water.

Once it gets wet is gets slippery and doesn't feel abrasive at all.

I used this product daily while operating my detailing business. A must have.

Dwayne will this doa numer on very grimy and heavily insected bug panels? Thats my hardest problem now

Yep, that's what it's designed to do. Use the Safe Scrub with LOTS of soap and water and patience. Let the soap and water soften the dried bugs. Water is a safe solvent but give it time to work. Be gentle. No need to gouge the paint. :naughty

I am not a fan of mesh covered wash mitts or mesh covered sponges. Now those CAN scratch. Mesh doesn't really get softer when it gets wet.

Maybe I might just pick one of these up. Doesn't a regular bug scrubber work as well?

:-p Thanks for the reply. Glad I got this product. Lots of soap and water will soften it up, great. Off to scrub some bugs!

Soak it for a little bit before you use it. And if you drop it on the ground make sure to rinse it off or soak it again. As long as you do that it will not hurt the paint. I use these and can't remember how I did without them before.

I have to get one of those my front bumper even with UPP and washing looks like it has a tone of chips but there not chips but bug juice and guts.

They work great , I cut mine into smaller pieces its easier to use ,then just toss 'em once they fall apart.

I use one all the time, they work great. I usually cut one in half and leave it in the bottom of my wash bucket and when ever i get to a nice crusty bug i just scrub it away and toss back into the wash bucket. It does seem terribly abrasive dry but when its wet and soapy its not bad at all, i haven't scratched or swirled anything using it. Its one of those products that really makes cleaning up a front bumper a snap. :drunk
