Anyone try Meguiars pre-wax glaze?

Buffed out
I was looking for a glaze and walmart and they happened to have meg's pre-wax glaze. I probably won't be using it for a couple of days, but was just wondering if anyone has any experience with it. I'm just looking to fill in the micro swirl marks and such, or just make them less noticeable.

Btw, is it real important to get all the wax off before doing this? I would assume so. I have plenty of Dawn on hand so.... thanx.

Are you talking about Meguiar's Ultimate Polish Pre-Waxing Glaze?

It's good at what it was designed to do, and you don't have to remove all the wax prior to using. If there's still wax on the paint , this stuff should eliminate most or all of it via abrasion or by displacement (its abrasives and liquid cleaning/polishing agents will soften or grind through most of the wax).

Unless you are hand polishing with a hope of eliminating scratches and swirl marks, a quick wipe on, a few agittion passes, and a wipe-off should make a pretty decent difference.

If defect removal is the goal (and you are working by hand, not machine), Meguiar's Ultimate Compound is the way to go. Then, follow up with a super-quick application of the Ultimate Polish. Mist on some Ultimate Quick Wax for protection, and you're good to go!

Yeah, I'm hand polishing. And to be honest, it's getting old. My arms feel like they are going to fall off, and I'll need elbow replacement surgery. I'm not kidding. Thanks for the input though, and it should be good for what I want.
