I saw this NEW line of detailing products from Armor-All called Podium Series as a collaboration with F1 Oracle Red Bull Racing at Walmart, of all places.
Anyone hear or know anything about this new detailing product line?
Seems kinda weird to see something like this at Walmart , BUT with Chemical Guys, Adam's Polishes, and Jay Leno Detailing products already on the shelf at Walmart , Armor-All definitely has their work cut out from the fore-mentioned competitors.
It seems a little higher-end price-wise than traditional Meguiar's, Mothers, and Turtle Wax Hybrid Solution Line.
Just curious if some Autopian has tried any of the new Armor-All products. and what they think of them.
It just seems "odd" that this new Armor-All Podium Series looks similar to the 3D GLW Series, but that is my "Captain Obvious conspiracy theory". More likely that Armor-All wants to get in on the buzz-word "Ceramic" detailing market (AKA, where the current consumer money is being spent on) and trying to compete with Turtle Wax and Mother's.
I also noticed that some of the Adam's Polishes products are starting to show up on the Clearance shelves at Walmart. Reminds me of the days when Auto-Glym sold their Hi-Definition Wax at $40 for a 6 once jar. Not exactly within the typical Walmart customer price range of car-care products, even if it is excellent. And yes, I bought my Hi-Def wax at $20 and still have the sponge applicator and red microfiber that came with it.
Not sure if I will buy any of the Adam's Polishes products on Clearance... depend on the price point
Not knocking Armor-All for trying to get into the mainstream detailing market. I always contend it is nice to have product choices, especially those that are readily available at over-the-counter stores, like Walmart!!
