I used mitts for A and C and a MF for B (so as to give a little more control; I was leery of the acid). Separate ones for each step. They clean up just fine and are not ruined for future (normal) use.
Step A is just an "industrial strength Dawn wash". Nothing special to it.
Step B is where you oughta be a little careful. I tried to keep the B off the glass and plastic lenses as best I could. When some *did* get on the glass, I wiped it with a wet cloth and then wiped it dry with a second, dry cloth. It's not that hard to keep it off the glass/plastic if you use something like a squeeze bottle to apply it to the cloth/mitt/whatever and then use *that* to actually put the B on the surface. I actually expected it to be a stronger/more acidic solution than it seemed to be. I clayed while the B was dwelling, as I walked around the vehicle reapplying the B to keep a wet surface.
Step C is just a regular carwash solution (you could use it every wash). Be sure to do a *very* thorough job of this step, as it's the last chance to remove all the B.
If you see any signs of remaining rust blooms, I'd consider redoing the B and C steps.
Sorry if the previous posts on this thread might've made you a bit nervous about the ABC. Yeah, Finish Kare makes some good points about which acids are safer, but had this stuff damaged my S8 in any way I would've been, uhm, *very vocal* about letting everyone know about it. So far, I've *never* had any problems with the stuff and I'm certainly not "especially experienced" in its use, I just used common sense and that worked fine.
