Have never used the one in your pic. However, I have used the 1Z product of the same name. No idea if it's the same product, but I really do like the 1Z product. It has the foam applicator at the top, and the product glides on very smoothly. I use it on all the rubber seals. A certain online store was having a closeout sale on them (US$2.70 each) so I bought a whole bunch of them! I'm sure you can use other products that'll accomplish the same results, but I just couldn't resist at that price.

No it's not the same stuff. The BMW stuff is a thick vasilne type product. The 1Z is a milky white type product similar to 303 or Vinylx.

I found the BMW stuff to be a PITA to apply.

The 1Z stuff was no different than 303 which I was already using. I use a small foam paint brush to apply 303 and it works great.

Oh ic ic, I stand corrected

I tried the Gummi-Pflege in the new bottle. I found that it works pretty well at keeping the seals soft, but it does take a while to dry so I end up leaving the doors and hood open to minimize that line that appears in the jambs from the weatherstripping.

Gang-I use Gummipfledge religously on my '94 BMW as well as my wifes Olds Bravada. The stuff works wonders-it reconditions your rubber doors gaskets reducing the amount of wind blowby. Even better-it prevents your window/door from freezing shut in winter weather. I apply 2 times a year. I clean the rubber with car wash, then apply GF liberally and I let it dry. After about 15-20 minutes with the doors open I wipe it down with a dry towel and it is done. They BMW product is better than EinZ, but they both work. If you are not familiar GummiPfledge means Rubber Care in German. Again I swear by it-and yes I realize you may swear at me too. Just give it a try!
