anyone here from NH or MA?

Well, it turned out there were only three of us (me, DaGonz, and Budman3) but we had a good time.

We used the Ultima Tire and Paint Guard on Kevin/Budman3's Jeep to bring the fender flares from almost white back to a nice soft black. It's going to take a few more coats to make them look new again but what we saw was fairly impressive.

We also compared Menzerna, Poor Boy's 2.5, and Ultima polishes to see which did the best job. It was close but Ultima clearly had the edge in that it produced very little dust while both Menzerna and PB produced a pretty fair amount.

As for the UDM vs. PC comparison, the UDM was the consensus choice overall. I noticed the reduced vibration mostly. It would have taken more time working with it to judge any difference in effectiveness.

It was fun to put faces and names to screen names and I'd be willing to host another get-together at some point.

Bill.. thanks for hosting. I wish more people came, as it was a nice warm day.

Bill does have a rather nice location, and I bought a new set of buffing pads for my PC from him.

Quick question..... any hints on where to get Dura Gloss locally? The CarQuest in Billerica makes it sound like local Car Quests can only get leather conditioner, and a few other things, but not Aqua Wax (something about the area distributor doesn't carry the full line)

Thanks,

-Eric

I managed to find (and order) few Duragloss products from Fisher Autoparts which is right on Exit 31 of I495 in Littleton. The telephone number is 978-486-9099.

I got the #652 pre-cleaner, the polish #105 and the AquaWax bottle. They ordered 652 and 105 for me in a day.
