Anyone heard of Dr.Beasley's?

They're this brand I found out about a month ago. The whole concept of the compamy revolves around the car care products being essentially a prescription for your car for tip-top health. Pretty unique and somewhat odd. So I figured; let's see who has heard and/or tried their products. Link: Car Care Products and Detailing Supplies

What is it with leather care products that some vendors feel the need to call themselves Dr?

BTW: the Dr comment is no reflexion upon DrG (David Ghodoussi - Optimum Polymer Technologies) he has a doctorate and is entitled to the academic title prefix Dr

Concept makes me roll my eyes pretty bad...

Me too. Silly advertising gimmick that'll separate [a certain demographic] from their money while helping them feel "special".

All this talk of "Health" in the automotive detailing context...

Heh heh, looking over the site I kept thinking that IMO this is like some kind of intelligence test.

I slipped the "unique" being nice. Thinking; maybe they're not as bad as this ridiculous shtick they have created. Now I see im not the only one. Who names a car care product company after their dog and slips Dr. In front off it. Very odd, Yet funny.

Good thread, I always like them.

Well, I don't have any problem with *that* part of it, and I do suspect the guy was able to sell this idea to some financial backers. Whether it'll be a successful venture or not, eh...hard to say what people will spend their money on :nixweiss

I almost wish someone bought their line just to do a write-up...my reservations lean towards being nothing more than gimmicky....but on the other hand--not too sure I'm curious enough to even look for any(write ups that is)

The guy owns a detail place in Chicago and they have a huge traffic there, (doesn't mean they are the best), and they made it to the list of DuPont registry preffered detailers. I looked at their website and the amount of services they offer just gave me a headache. It's just too many, they are all to similar and i think that they only know how to market themself the right way, but i would not trust them with my car when it comes to paint correction. I've heard that all their products are nanufactured by some company in PA
