out of curiosity, has anyone ever mixed equal parts of IP and FPII

into a container and used it, sort of like creating a product that is less abrasive that IP but more than FPII? follow with AIO then a sealant. would this be a bad idea?? thanks for any input.

Bad idea, IP is not really a finishing product. FPII will set that mirror shine but if you mixed with IP you would diminish the gloss. It probably wouldn't hurt on light colors, but I wouldn't do it.

I don't think it's a good idea to mix two different levels of polish like that. The problem is by the time IP is broken down, your FPII would be gone as well and it would be like it wasn't even there.

I'd be more willing to mix FPII and AIO.

It wont hurt anything IMHO, If you just use IP and mist it with 50/50 water and ISA, as it begind to dry, the IP will break down into very minute particles which will leave a nice finish like FPll, you just have to work it longer, so, what you are doing by mixing the two is introducing IP in a mixed state...wont save you time.
