Anyone ever top AIO/SG with #16?

I'm in the process of finishing my wife's Indigo Blue '01 Suburban with an AIO/SG session, and was wondering if anyone has ever topped that combo with Meguiar's #16?

I know Scottwax has mentioned topping AIO with #16, but didn't know if #16 on top of AIO/SG was just 'autopian overkill'.......not that there's anything wrong with that, of course! :xyxthumbs

Thanks for the feeback.....I think I'm going to top the SG with a coat of #16. Of course, now it's rainy and cold here in NC, so I won't be able to get pics until tomorrow.

Do I have to wait 24 hours for the SG to cure? Or can I just add the #16 right now?

Wait for it to cure and get more SG on there (like a coat after every wash for the next few washes) before you top it. I used to top my AIO+SG with #16- it worked fine and improved the look. I quit doing it as I prefer to just add more SG from time to time.

IMO you should have (at least) three coats of SG before you top it. That'll give plenty of protection after the #16 goes away and will also stand up to gentle spot-claying.
