Anyone else tried the LC 5.5" low profile pads?

I use the 7.5' LC VC pads on the PC. Best results for me.

I have the same pads also. I love them!!!!! I have the 7336 pc with the 6" counterweight that came with the pc. I have never had my pc bog down ever. I also love my yellow 7.5 LC VC pads! With my compound that I use, I can get away with only 1 step and the finish is Beautiful!

I am not a big fan of the orange pads cause they are stiff! That's just me and my stupid opinion though:LOLOL

Even with 106FF?

I guess finishing with the rotary is the way to go with that paint. I have a black M3 coming in on Friday--I'll let you know how it goes. :D

Please do. I had no luck with RE5, FPII, 106FF or 85RD and either the orange or white pads.

how does the orange lake country pad compare to the megs yellow polishing pad? also, when using these pads with a 5" megs backing plate, does the backing plate overlap the velcro on the top of the pad, or does it center perfectly?

The orange pad is a bit more aggressive compared to the Meguiars yellow.

Using a Meg's BP and the 5.5" pads. you have about .25" of velcro "cushion" outside of the BP. In other words, it's just atad bigger than the Meguiars BP.
