Anyone else have problems with new Hydro pads?

Pad Drying

I would suggest putting them on a rotary and using centrifugal force to dry them, or between 2 towels and squeeze them dry. I would not reccommend throwing them in the dryer.

Thanks Eric. I forgot to mention that I do spin them out with a rotary for approx 30 seconds. I will press them between 2 towels in the future.

I've gota new problem with the Tangerine pads. I'll post a picture later today to better explain whats going on. But a brand new pad, used with rotary for 2 passes on a hood. Used for maybe 3 minues total. Looks like a blooming onion now :(
Angelo is taking care of the situation, but I'm really hoping you guys at LC look into this pad. These are really awesome pads, and I have ordered several since they came out. I've had 2 of these pads do the "blooming onion" failure, and many more that have not. So I don't see it as major problem. Maybe these 2 came from the same batch, and that batch had problems. But either way, excellent product! Keep up the good work Lake Country!!! Pictures to come soon!

Nick,
I have spoken with LC on your pads. Send the pictures and I will talk to them again on Monday. I will let you know what they say.

Here's a couple of pictures to show whats going on with it. Keep in mind, this is a brand new pad, used for half of a hood with M105 on a rotary.

I am experiencing this on a small scale with the 4" pads but my 5.5 pads are golden!!!!! this foam leaves an incredible finish EVERYTIME!!!!!!! regardless of the paint finish they are used on and no pad I have used till now can make that claim.

Bryan I spin my pads on a rotary or PC at high speed and I have found that a little moisture has benefitted their performance as opposed to detracting from it in my experience, I must like them because I am going to make my THIRD order on them today incoming Angelo........

these look just like the LC 4" pads that came with my Cyclo kit and the velcro came off on the first use. I told myself that I would not ever order LC pads again after that... but...I recieved a few of the CCS pads with another polisher I bought and they are really nice and durable pads.

Question.. Does the velcro on these Hydro Tech pads come all the way to the edge of the pad or is there a bit of pad material between the edge of the pad and where the velcro begins?
