Anyone Else Get Banned?

has anyone else on here got banned from another forum for no reason or something really stupid? her is my story i started a thread on another forum i wont say the name of the forum but if you goggle WHAT MAKES PAUL DALTON SO GREAT it will pop right up. well what happend was i started a thread about paul dalton and it kinda went south and ending up with people bashing me,paul and the thread getting locked. whats really messed up is the guy who runs the website posted that the thread looked to be in good intensions and even paul himself got on there and thanked me for my kind comments but when people started bashing me and paul i was blamed and i was told my intensions were now bad and i must have started the thread to stir up some trouble. every single person ive showed couldnt believe i got banned for the thread and i even bit my tongue when people started talking about me so anyways thats my story and just wondering if anyone else on here has gotten banned for the stupidest reason. by the way i would like to add that ive been on here alot and ive found everyone on here to be really cool and respectful and i hope to learn alot from everyone on here thanks:thx

ya but heres the thing the guy running the website made a post (pretty quickly i might add) warned everyone to be nice and i posted throughout the whole thread and when things went south thats when i got the blame. if he thought i was spamming or trying to stir up something he should have locked it from the beginning
 
if your a new member to a site and start a thread like the one you did . this is going to cause moderaters to ban you for thinking your spaming or causing trouble ..i know the site your talking about and your probably just in a 30 day suspention ..

i got banned indefinitely, no doubt about it
 
that sucks . all i can say is theres alot of guys on d/b including moderaters .that are very tight with paul . perhaps that played a part in your banning . i dont know ...

ya but did you get a chance to read the thread it was about how great pauls work is im not the one who started bashing him. if you havnt read it please go ahead and take the time to read the whole the from beginning to end and tell me your honest opinion i would appreciate it, ands thanks for the response to this thread
 
i read some of it . and . i dont think it warranted banning . im not the a moderater . all i can say is if theres any way you can contact carlos. (nica) . and ask for your member statis to be acive again and explan you didnt mean harm in your post . im sure he will understand .

nica sent me a pm asking what my intensions were but no lie before i could even log in and anwser his ? he banned me. i did contact him through email and he pretty much called me a deceitful lier and after trying to reason with the man :argue i gave up told him what i thought of him and i can tell you this i will NEVER be allowed on that site again. but you really cant ban a person from a forum i still go on there all the time
 
I have a YoYo forum 5,000 members mostly teenagers. If I were to ban for a similar thread all my members would be gone!

People like to push other people's buttons sometimes they don't even realize their doing so.
 
I've been a member here since 2006, NEVER did I mention ANY brand of products, made a total of 14 posts during my 3 year term mostly giving props to some Pro detailers. I started ONLY 2 threads with photos of jobs that I had done again no product no names nothing that could violate the rules, without ANY warning I got banned for life indefinitely.



"IF" I had done something wrong I could expect that I get a warning or delete whatever I said wrong but that was not the case, I still believe that I did nothing wrong.



It's a great forum with great people but what they did to me was simply an injustice, I'm sure this account will also be deleted.
 
I feel that Carlos was setting an example for other members and you were the example... it has happened to me in life where there were situations when I thought I wasn't doing something wrong bc others in a way were doing the same act, I was just the example and got in trouble for it, I guess being the low guy on the pole over that granted you that..sorry...
 
I was banned from a site... Because the people that were operating the site were always saying how much it cost to run the site, had a "farm" where they'd sell members stuff, and were making a huge profit off of it. We got some feds interested (many feds on the site were contributing to their "business" as well....) and they knew who started the investigation, and bam.



There is no specific post which lead to it too, because it was all behind the scenes.

your right i was used as the example i think theres some major favortism going on there and because i was new he probably thought who cares this guy is a no body. a guy who actually talked some s#*t to paul all he got was a 10 day suspension and the guy who talked s@*t to me got nothing.
