Anyone else ever hear this horror from your wife/sig. other

My father removed snow off my old car with a shovel. Don't ask me what possessed him to do something like that. He ended up leaving scratches on the hood, roof, and trunk.

This was the same car I crashed last year. I was shocked and pissed when I saw what He'd done.

I pet peeve is when my girlfriend puts her bare feet up on my dashboard.... then i have footprints in my armorall, they wonder why i get so worked up about it

But when you go look in her car... you cant even see the floor cause its covered in garbage...

This summer I sat in my country cabin when my grandma walks by outside the window and waves with some sort of wollen mitt. She comes in and I ask her what she did with the mitt? "Oh, I just wiped down your car." GAAAH!!! She had simply used the mitt and wiped down the car, no water no nothing and let me tell you that car was dirty since we have a dirt road leading up to the house.

When I tried to tell her why it was wrong she said she'd been doing it for years on her car with no problem (that she could see that is).

So its polishing time baby!

That last post with grandma is even worse than my experience with the 'snow removal and girlfriend'

I don't know anyone who can get upset by what there grandma did. :think2

I taughtr the wife how to use the snowbrum to remove thwe snow from the Edge. Of course, I am a nice gy and will take care of it before she leaves for work.

'It\'s a real problem here in the NorthEast US. You can\'t really leave snow on the car most of the time, because we get these storms with mixtures of sleet, snow, freezing rain, and ice. This can leave huge buildups of ice and compact snow that are dangerous to other divers when they fly off. Two people were killed here recently when a large chunk of ice flew of a truck and hit a car. \r\n\r\nUsing a snow brush is pretty much the norm. I would would rather face having to fix scratches in the spring, than dealing with a lawsuit and the guitl of having harmed a fellow being.\r\n\r\nIf there is a better solution, I\'s all ears.'

:bat My GF tries to be careful, and I would feel bad if i yelled at her...

My friends don't understand why I get so worked up either.....

My mother-in-law did this last week with a snow brush. There were 3 people leaving at the same time after a fresh 10" of snow, so we were helping each other brush the snow off [glass]. When I saw her start brushing off my hood, I politely waved and backed out very quickly.

One dealership here uses these for their lot vehicles...
