Anyone apply Pinnacle carnuba over zaino?

I am planning on using zaino for the first time in the spring so I am not much help in regards to personal experience. However, the link you provided is to P21S wax, not Pinnacle Souveran...just wanted to let you know.



Most carnauba waxes do not really care what is below as they "sit" on top of the previous product application.

is there a difference? i was just reading about adding carnuba to add to the look of a finished product and what I posted was a carnuba. I only know zaino products, everything else is greek to me :)
 
I have done the combo. I usually apply Zaino and enjoy the fresh coats for a few weeks or about a month. Then I will add the Souveran. Basically, I add the souveran for the looks over Zaino. The Zaino underneath gives me the durability and the souveran adds to the looks. Obviously if you add the souveran over Zaino, you wont be able to add more Zaino until you remove the souveran.



I have used Souveran and P21S. IMO P21S is a little brighter and has **slightly** better durability than souveran. Souveran is more wet and warm imo. Some people do not justify the price difference. Put it this way, when I run out of my Souveran I will buy another can, Im about to run out of P21S, but I dont see myself ordering anymore.
 
6 week old zaino Z2pro, just QD'd with Z6:

I hear of people putting carnuba over zaino for a car show and then stripping it off afterwards. How do you strip off a single coat of wax?

You should be able to dawn it off. Unless you are ready to add somemore zaino I would just leave it on.
 
I go straight to Sourvan after Men, polish and Red Moose glaze. Awesome!

Great pics with the Natty's Blue...you can definitely see more depth and wetness in the "after" pic.

It depends so much on the color and type of paint you have. If you have black without metallic in the paint yes Souveran in my opinion will improve the overall look and would probably be worth doing. If you have a dark color that has metallic in the paint you have to remember that Souveran does some what mute the metallic in exchange it adds warmth and depth to the look so this one would be strictly up to what you like. Light color cars, in my opinion there isn’t enough difference to warrant the use of Souveran and messing up the Zanio system. The negative part is not being able to apply additional coats of Zanio with out removing Souveran and personally I have not had much success with Z8 or Z6 on top Souveran. So a short answer would be “Yes – No – Maybe�!!! :wavey
