Anybody use only Klasse AIO

I just did a 3 step process with my silver '04 Tacoma...

Clay bar

Klasse AIO 1x

Klasse SG 1x

Does anybody use only the AIO and not top it with SG? The AIO felt smoother than the SG when it was applied. What are the advantages of topping the AIO with SG? I found the AIO much easier to remove than the SG.

I plan on adding 2 more layers of SG within the next few weeks. I am happy with the results. I wasn't expecting much, given it is a brand new vehicle, but I do like the "dipped in oil" look.

Thanks for the help,

When I first used AIO, I went "wow" and was impressed with the glow it had. I then threw some SG on thinking I could get it looking even better and to tell you the truth I thought the AIO had more pop to it. After I put the 2nd and 3rd layer of SG it got much better. I always use Sonus QD after every wash to maintain the brightness. In fact the slickness for me seems to be at it's best after Sonus as opposed to a fresh layer of SG.

The SG is a pure sealant as opposed to AIO which is mainly cleaner with some protectant thrown in.Throwing several layers of SG should keep your car protected for at least several months. AIO can't be layered so that's where the advantage of SG comes in. Then when you're bored you can start the whole process over again.

I have a new bottle of Sonus that I haven't used yet. I am gonna wash my truck tomorrow and use the Sonus. I will look forward to the added slickness the Sonus QD adds. Thanks Yosemite Dan.

I am thinking about purchasing the PC just to buff off the wax. I really don't mind applying it by hand. I enjoy the TLC of applying by hand, but it is a pain to buff out.....

I'm a proponent of the BillNorth method of applying SG. Wipe on and wipe off immediately per panel. If you apply it thinly (dime sized amount on a damp applicator) you shouldn't have a problem taking it off by hand. If you can barely see it when you're applying then you're doing it right.

SG doesn't impress too much until you get to layer #3. I like to have 5 layers.

May I suggest that you look at some pictures of silver with S100 wax as a topper. It works really well with Klasse twins. S100 has consistently given silver cars an outstanding look.

Yeah, you can use the PC to remove product. Get some MF bonnets (I prefer the ones that fit over foam pads instead of the ones that fit over wool) from Meg's, CMA, or TOL.

If you *do* get the PC, you'll end up using it for all sorts of stuff.
