Anybody still like/use zaino

Zaino is a very, very good product for what its intentions are based. It is very durable, reflects and shines like heck. I would not use anything else on my daily driver (silver). But as a hobbist who loves to tinker with my "garage queen weekend warrior" ( black Z28) and my classics( red and black) there is not enough esthetic features that are personally pleasing to me (I require depth, basecoat color emphasis, wettness, "make-up ability" ( filling/ hiding minor surface marring) and zero durability. I still use Zaino for wheel protection on all of my driven vehicles and nothing has worked better. If Zaino could create a product with more of a carnuaba-like appearance and toppable with various products and retain its durability I would it use on my driven vehicles.

well i got a black cobra. I used to use 3m, then i went to 26 meguiars. I liked the deep appearance. the zaino makes it more reflective but not as deep i think.

website or something would help.

do a search for S100, I bet there was at least 200 threads that would come up ;)

I don't know that S100/P21S has a website. It is sold on a hundred different eStores though. you could probably just put in "S100 wax" or "P21S wax" on google and get a hundred hits.

there is no website for the company which makes s100. The company is named brookside import specialties. I thin in boston. I posted all their info once, just search for the name.

they have a very good staff there, and they know what they talk about.

*EIDT* It's also availible in 633 harley stres around the nation. (No i didn't count, Brookside did.)

I've been using Zaino for six months and love it. One reason I use it is because sometimes I let the cars go too many weeks without a wash and sometimes months without waxing, so with Zaino, I know it will be protected. I am starting to get an itch to try S100 though. :nixweiss

I have not used it lately.

I like its durability, slickness and shine but without a garage it always seemed to be a pain to maintain. Every time I washed my car it seemed like I would find more and more waterspots under the Zaino. No matter how cautious I was and how much I went over the car with Z6 they were forever there:mad: .

Then something about Z6 attracted dust like stink on you know what:nixweiss. One day after washing the car it looked like it had been outside for days without a wash:(.

Now switching to S100 I use a very small amount, and I can apply/remove it in around 10 minutes. With a QD of Eagle One it looks amazing. If there are any waterspots a simple clay removes the wax and waterspots. The amount of dust that sticks to the car has been tremendously reduced also, making the car look a hell of lot better for longer times.

Something in me also makes me itch to try new stuff. I am addicted to buying detailing products. Others do not undertsand(but for my fellow autopians:xyxthumbs ) this condition of mine yet I alwasy surf this board for the newest goodies to drool over. I am seriously jonesing for Clearkote right now.
