An ex-friend of mine thought they were going to do me a favor and used armoral on my dash, is there any way to undo the damage?

And what would you recommend for the dash???

The type of dressing depends on the kind of look you like, shiny or matte.

The best for a matte finish, in my experience, is 303 aerospace protectant.

It gives it a factory new look.

Vinylex is also good and gives a shinier appearance.

There are other products but these are the only two that ive used.

Maybe others can add their own opinions.

Also you can find alot of information on this subject through the search function.

It has been discussed many times before.

Showroom is right about cleaning.

As far as what to use, the two I use are 303 Aerospace Protectant and Black Magic Semi-Gloss. Both are matte finishes and you may not even notice a difference in appearance, especially with BM Semi-Gloss.

Where do you buy 303 Aerospace or for that matter many of the products I read about on these posts. Thank you.

It's an online place for buying stuff. Click the link that Autorave8 posted and look for yourself. You could also use the search function and find lots of mentions.

I hope I don't get slammed for this, but I do wash my vinyl down w/a wet towel with a lil dawn on it, then wipe down with a towel with water only a couple times to get all the soap off, then I use Son Of A Gun. It doesn't give a BIG shine like Armor All, but it gives it a little more than factory shine. I've heard a lot of ppl say to stay away from AA and SOAG...are they not really good for your vinyl and stuff?

That's the thing though...I don't have any problems with glare using Son Of A Gun...and I've used it since 1997 and my dash still looks brand new. I mean, if it didn't work, I wouldn't use it, but it's so cheap and it seems to be working. Does anyone have proof this stuff doesn't protect your dash?
