Anybody else wipedown their cell phone?

I used to, but once I dropped it (chipped the edges) and it got a big scratch in it from being in the same pockets as my keys, I sorta stopped. It's one of those things where it will just get smudged again the instant you use it, so trying to keep it spotless is like pissing in the wind. IMO

I am sure that most of you guys own a flat pannel TV of some kind. If you have a flat pannel, you must also have a bottle of screen clean. Just spray that on a MF and wipe away.

Do you know that there are more germs on your cell phone than there is on th bottom of your shoes, or in a toilet bowl? (not trying to gross anyone out:eek:) It really is true, so cleaning your cell phone is a good idea.

all the oils (not to mention other things you've been handling) from your hand and face will transfer onto the phone, and i wipe it down with a microfiber towel every other day or so...

A cover should help protect the edges for when you drop it and they sell protective plastics that go over the screen and will protect the glass from scratches.

I use CG's Clear seal on my phones navi's and flat screen TV. It is a sealant that prevents finger prints and dust build up on plastic screens. I have to admit it does work and work well. My gf is amazed how my navi screen has no finger prints on it. It also helps prevent that face grease build up (eewww) that flip phone and touch screen phones get

I usually give my phone a wipedown with some water and an MF every few days, especially now I even use the spray purell on the screen.

I know it sounds silly but think about all the places you put your phone down, all the times you touch it when your hands arent clean, even let someone else use it (rarely but it counts)

My alone here?

Honestly, I thought I was the only one! The back of my iPhone has coat of p21s on it!
The screen looks best with lens cleaner from the optician counter at costco. Free refills for life. They are regretting that I'm sure!

I also wipe down my phone, keyboard, and mouse at work (even though I'm the only user).

Yep, I've got issues!:o

My iPhone gets wiped down everyday with Isopropyl/water mixture.
and once it fell in a bucket of water and didn't know until it started vibrating (2G model)
and it still worked fine..talk about cleaning "inside and out".
