Any Zaino suggestions on this SS Chevelle?

I finally got all the Zaino I could possibly want and Im ready to use it. Im doing a '68 SS Chevelle of a friend of mines and I'd like a few opinions. I've prepped the paint and ready to do my Dawn wash. I was planning on:

Z2 with Z6 in between, X3

Z8

CS



A couple questions I had were.....if Z8 has such an impressize gloss, could it be used in place of Z6 between Z2 layers? Also, the paint is in good condition, all things considered, but it is about 12 years old. Should I use Z5 instead of Z2? And lastly, should I ZAIO before laying down Z2/Z5? Thanks guys!

If using CS and Z8, always CS first then Z8.

Hello, I have found that Z5 works a little better on the darker colors. I have a 69 midnight green GTO that was last painted in "91". so we're pretty close there. I use Z5, Z6 between layers, then Z8. Got to LOVE Z8!! I would think Z8 between layers, but it's a cost thing.

Have you polished the paint yet with anything.....?

I did polish out a lot of swirls amd scratches using Black Pearl #2 by Car Brite (Its actually a pretty decent line of products). Thats all I've put on it thus far...

Z6 leaves a cleaner finish behind, so I think it'd be better between layers. I actually use nothing between layers and don't see why you'd want to.
