Any tire guys?

I am in need of new tires for my '01 Tacoma. I really don't go offroad but the casual camping trip. I am really lost on what could be my best bet.

I usually buy my tires at the same place for all the cars I've owned but they are kind of limited in options.

I usually get the not the top of the line but one below, something that lasts me at least 3-4 years.

Any insight?

Tirerack.com is a good place to start. Its kind of like Consumer Reports for tires with lots of user reviews of many different brands & styles. You can order from them or just use the reviews to help decide which tire is best for your vehicle.

I had Michelin LTX/MS on my T-100 and they were excellent tires, having 80K (mostly highway though, with plenty of tread left) on them when I totalled my truck. I got them on a recommendation from a neighbor, and have since turned a friend on to them (who also drives a Tacoma) who's been very pleased with them as well.

Got 'em on my Rodeo too, they're great on the road, way better in snow than the Goodyears I used to have, have been fine for (the admittedly very light) offroading I've done and last forever. :2thumbs:
