I know there is QAE but I cannot seem to find the actual thread talking about the steps even after doing a search for ScottWax posts ...

Using normal car soap and buckets of water ... anyone has any good tips and steps for a Easy car wash and drying ? :D

By the way, is QAE a special type of car soap?

You mean QEW or "Quick and Easy Wash"? That suggestion from Pecs_McCoy might be just the trick for you if water supply is difficult and drying is a problem because this wash product has no separate drying step. You can't hose down the car or the undercarriage, but it does work well and it gets fast once you practice. :up

Pages 1 and 2 of this thread are great info right from Scottwax himself:

Read through these carefully to pick out the really good info in them - I took a quick look and saw lots of info in these 4 threads. One of them even discusses "limited access to a hose".

I just hope you can FIND or get this stuff over there....

Great man. thx for the links. Now the only thing is to find the product as the website is down :D and I hope to find it here in Singapore. i wonder if we can use ordinary car shampoo although it seems like we are unable to.
