Any techniques for doing the roof of large SUV's?

Some of these things are so damned big I can't do the roof. Anyone have any good ideas to get up there? I'd like to do the usual clay, SMR and wax.

On my jeeps I use a step ladder otherwise, the roof would not get done.

Benches like the one NozeBleed showed in that link are great. One of the best things I've purchased in ages. I don't know how I got by without it.

Sounds unsafe but it's really not that bad. I've been using milk crates all my life to get up to things I can't reach....

u could try construct some form of scaffolding that you can drive yo suv between and u can climb on top hehe

Grab two joint compound buckets, punch two holes in the bottom of each, thread some rope thru and tie them two your feet. Poor man's stilts. Actually saw someone doind drywall work with them.
