Any Recommendations on applying #7 with a PC

I used Meg. #7 over the weekend with the PC speed about 4.5, and I was just wondering is it best to work the product until about gone or......

It seemed the #7 was kinda tuff to buff out the remaining product by hand.

however it was my first time working with #7, so is that just the way it is. I really liked the way the outcome was and plan on using it again but is there any way to apply it to where it comes off easier?

I use low speed and a finishing pad. I remove it after the surface has skinned, but before the product has "dried" (it never really dries completely). It takes two swipes, once with a terry towel to break the skin into little sections, once with a microfiber to finish up.

Yeah, what Mosca said. You don't want to work the #7 until it's "gone" like a polish that breaks down, that's not how it works. Maybe think of it as "working it into the pores of the paint" like using a lotion on your skin. Then take it off thinking of it as "taking the excess lotion off your skin", while leaving a little down in the pores.

Wiping it "off" is almost always a multi-pass process. Going around the car a few time, getting it "better" each time, is better than trying to get a panel right before moving on to the next one.

There's a little bit of a learning curve to #7. If it turns out to be too much of a pain, you might try #3 or #81 instead.

Can you top #7 with NXT? Heard NXT may have cleaners in it. Would hate to apply #7, only to have it removed by a topper.
