Any recent experiences with BLACKFIRE?

I have just finished a complete detail on my black dodge Hemi using BLACKFIRE polish and sealant preceded by DACP. The results were great . Since the detail I have used BLACKFIRE shampoo/conditioner and gloss enhancer (qd) and again am very pleased with the results. Supposedly the BLACKFIRE gloss enhancer (qd) greatly extends the effectiveness of the sealant because it contains the same polymers. It's darned expensive ( about $15 for a 16 oz. bottle) Is it worth it?

My wife would think so. I exclusively use BF on her Black Mustang. She will not let use anything else on it. I must agree with her that BF looks great on her Mustang.

I'm always pleased with the results from Blackfire. I just applied it again on the 'Roara on top of the Z, and don't plan on going back.

I think the BF QD is nice, and smells nice, but as far as worth the cost, I don't really think so. I find Final Detail to be the best QD I've used, and it is excellent over Blackfire. You can get a whole gallon for almost $15... As far as BF QD adding more protection, just put on another coat. It'll be a lot cheaper than the QD you'll use, and renew the protection better.

:) I used Blackfire a few weeks ago--must say, its easier to apply when it's cold and dry out. Nice results too, after 2 months it looks awesome. I look at it when it's dirty and go "wow, shiney car."

CBS,

I agree. I used BF2 last fall and loved it. Used it again last July and got smearing. To me it's humidity sensitive. I'm with UPP now. I hope it works better next summer.

I used it. It was excellent. It added a ton of gloss back, and made my paint look red again. It really added in that pop and gloss that Zaino didn't have. Driving every day, the hood is the thing I notice most. With Zaino, it was very reflective from the driver's seat, but since it was a very shallow angle of reflection, you could barely tell the paint was red. It was more like a mirror. Some Final Detail, and the hood looked awesome again. Still excellent reflections, but it was like reflections off a wet red pool instead of off a mirror. I bought my car in red for a reason, and I'd like to see it.... ;)
