Any pictures of cars -not- beading?

Was looking at Scottwax's gallery and came across a picture entitled "Optimum Car Wax beading" and was wondering if any of you guys had a picture of a car not beading water. When cars aren't waxed and don't have that beading protection what does it look like? Do big puddles form on the car instead or what?

Also, beading or not, your car is still wet right? Can you just wipe it off and it'll be ok? It won't mess with your sealing layer of wax or anything? What about water spots?

When a car doesn't bead, the water will collect into pools on the horizontal surfaces. If you try to 'squeegee' it off with your hand, it might streak and spread a bit.

Water spots happen when you have beads (good beading or bad beading action) that aren't dried from the paint. The sun bakes them onto the paint. Waipin beads off will not do anything to your paint protection (be it wax, sealant, etc...)

Hope this helped :)

Next time it rains, walk through a parking lot as the rain is ending. The cars that don't have any wax on them will be fairly obvious.

We've had a fair amount of rain recently and I've been doing this. Kinda neat in my warped mind :)
