The floor is an Epoxy / Polyurethane covering that is applied over two days. It can take 3 days if the prep work takes longer. The cost of the floor was $1.80 / sq.ft. The company that did my floor is
Premier Garages. I saw a floor they did in an auto mechanics shop, and a friend of mine used them first. If you look at there web site or call them, I think other outfits do this in other states. They should be able to help you out.
Previously, I had used a do-it-yourself kit, and while it wasn't too bad, over time it became stained and dull, and started to peel a little.
The floor I have now is much much better in terms of looks, quality, and ease of cleaning. I dust mop the floor about once a week and wet mop (water only) it about every other week. The floor is well worth the money, and I would do it again in a heart beat.
Also, after the floor is completed, no objects can be on the floor for 24 hours and you can't drive on it for 4 days. I waited a full 7 days before I drove on it.
