Any no. 73 Collinite fans out there?

I've been using Sapphire Auto Wax (No. 73) lately and I wonder why it doesn't get more attention around here. I followed it with 915 which is my new favorite wax, and man it looked sweet. I didn't have a camera as it was at a friends house, but I am loving this cleaner wax. I removed stubborn water spots and I was equally impressed with protection it left. I used a white pad with a rotary at speed 2, applied to panel first then polished it. I did the whole vehicle and had no residue on the pad. It dusts off and doesn't stick at all. The dust is very light and easily wipes off with a straight MF and no spray. I love that I didn't even have to clean the pad, I just turned it up to 6 to speed spin off any dust and I can reuse the pad with no effort. There may be stronger cleaners out there, but this is a legitimate one step that doesn't need another coat. Yeah, I did top it with 915 but I could have just used 73 after washing it and called it a day, very nice stuff. Anyone using 73 regularly?

IIRC, they do not recommend the Sapphires for clearcoats. I used the liquid 30 years ago in the SS days...and recently on an old A/C unit...it's very nice stuff.

^^ Yeah, that's what I was told as well. But then I was told the paste was OK for CC but not the liquid. (Can says "recommended for all automotive finishes.") :nixweiss

I cant imagine why the product I used wouldn't be good for CC. It's a glaze/cleaner that's non abrasive. It did a yomans job at hiding swirls that I couldn't tell until I looked at in the sun today. It's a mile deep shine that's perfect for black. It's an amazing product for a detailer, especially if it's semi new paint that doesn't need compounding. I'm so confident I am doing a black mercedes with it next week, I'll try and post some pics.
