I proposed this a while ago and DavidB was against us giving money...I will find the thread..



Edit: found the thread and I guess I was wrong on the exact topic discussion so I'm not sure if David feels the same way about these donations.

But yeah, I would seriously love autopia shirts and a nice sticker. We always have polls, threads, etc..but nothing becomes of them :(
 
If DavidB has no problem with just a sticker that says "www.autopia.org", I'll gladly contribute some designs.



Maybe we can get some designs together, put them up on one of those CafePress style online stores, and then donate any proceeds to charity?



I suppose it would be like.. $2.99 for a window sticker plus $1.99 shipping or something?

What if we started a donation program to this site where anyone who donates (let's say $5) gets some decals. The cost of the decal/sticker plus shipping charges should be a lot less than that, plus the money could go towards keeping this site up and running. Maybe even give higher donations more expensive promo items? Hats, t-shirts, duffle bag, etc. It's a good way to promote this site and everyone gets something out of it. I don't know, just a suggestion.

We used to donate money way back in 2001 and got something like a text that said donating member or something like that. I have no problem donating money if a donation program is set up. You could do it like Off Topic and give access to members only areas or something like that.

same here, that way i can put one on the back passenger side window (lower half where it's already dark) and not intefere with my tint. years ago i had stickers on the back window (different car), and it left an imprint, years from the hot sun...
 
Im not interested in stickers, I think they look cheap.



Id love a license plate frame tho. That would look great! It wouldn't need to be chrome over brass like Tort's tho...a simple chromed plastic or brushed aluminum would suffice.

Have you ever seen the Zaino sticker on a car? Umm...it doesn't look "cheap" when you put it on a car, it's not like it's a bumper sticker. I think it looks sleek.

Ive seen pics of it. I don't like stickers on my car. No matter how sleek they are. The only stickers that are on my car are either A.) some kind of cause (AIDS,Troops in the Middle East, etc or B.) registration ;)



Ill be the first in line if its a license plate frame.

I'd also support paying a small yearly fee to help keep this site going.
 
Stickers would be cool. If DW in the UK has them then surely autopia should as well

I'd love to get or have made locally, a huge AUTOPIA banner just like the detailers paradise, duragloss and clearkote ones sitting in the showroom in my shop.





I'd stick this one in my 6 metre wide polishing bay (up the front about seven feet up)
