any interest in AUTOPIA.ORG stickers, license plate frames, etc..?

i was curious if there is any interest in AUTOPIA.ORG stickers, license plate frames, etc..? what would you prefer? let's here em' folks...
 
I would like a window sticker like Zaino has, unfortunately it seems these threads come and go with interest but nothing ever becomes of the interest people show :work:
 
Yea we had ideas a while back about making window decals. I'm not sure if we ever got clearance from DavidB to reuse the Autopia logo, though.



I'm actually fond of a decal that just has "www.autopia.org" in a nice slimline font that I can put at the base of my rear window. It'd be noticeable, but it wouldn't look flashy or ridiculous.
 
hey guys, hopefully we can generate some interest once again and davidb make take more notice this time. stickers wouldn't be that cost effective, and i'm sure many on here would love one! :up keep the replies a comin'...
 
One of my favorite Christmas gifts from DavidB (he's awfully generous to the moderators):

Unfortunately, the plate frames were one-offs, and I think he said at the time they'd be too pricey to try to try to sell through ACC (that's chrome-plated brass, IIRC . . . not the cheap chromed plastic stuff). It's a shame, because it's a very nice frame.



I'd be all for a discrete window sticker. I also wouldn't mind having more Autopia gear . . . hats, shirts, etc. I figure that's not likely any time soon, though, as DB is swamped with Ultima and UDM.

Even though I tend towards debadging/etc. and otherwise keeping a low public profile, I might like an Autopia license plate frame... "www.autopia.com" I suppose somebody selling personalized frames could whip it up, but I'd want David's OK first.
 
i think a nice decal for paint would be used by many pro's. as a matter of fact i wouldn't mind decals from distributors(whose products i use) either.
 
I wouldn't mind a sticker that I could add to my collection on my tool box/cart or maybe on my wash bucket. A regular sticker would work for me, but I prefer vinyl decals since they look pretty nice when it comes out right. Something like this: Zaino Metallic Silver Decal: Zaino Store



What if we started a donation program to this site where anyone who donates (let's say $5) gets some decals. The cost of the decal/sticker plus shipping charges should be a lot less than that, plus the money could go towards keeping this site up and running. Maybe even give higher donations more expensive promo items? Hats, t-shirts, duffle bag, etc. It's a good way to promote this site and everyone gets something out of it. I don't know, just a suggestion.

that's an awesome idea and i hope we see this idea put into action. that should definitely be enough to s.o.s (save our site). not to mention it would obviously help spread the word and recruit new members.:bigups
