Any holes in my procedure?

Hey guys, here's what I'm going to do this week/weekend



Wash/Clay

DACP w/yellow pad

SMR w/white pad (to remove any hazing)

AIO w/white pad

SG by hand with MF app



Any holes there? Also I've got some light swirls that I need to get rid of, do you guys think I'm better off DACP'ing and then using the SMR to fix the hazing (I do seem to get hazing on the Lexus with DACP) and then follow up with the SMR or should I just stick with the SMR and not even use the DACP? They're not bad at all, I just hate to get all done and realize I've left any behind

I would suggest:



Wash/Clay

DACP w/ yellow pad

AIO by hand w/ MF or PC w/ white pad

SG by hand w/ MF



If you are going to use AIO after SMR you are just wasting your time because AIO will strip away the SMR that you apply and swirls will reappear again.



My advice is try to take out all the swirls using the DACP.:bounce
 
So you think the AIO will remove any hazing that I would have after the DACP?



I'm inclined to use the DACP for the main reason that I've had so much more success working with it than SMR...
 
Yeah, some people have pretty much switched completely to DACP for swirl removal jobs, but if you're not too sure you may want to at least give SMR a shot on a small patch or something first.



Not too sure if AIO has the strength to remove DACP hazing, but again you could try it. It kind of depends on how much hazing you really get. You may also want to try using DACP with the white (polishing) pad, since that seems to leave a lot less or no hazing in some cases, such as what I had experienced.
