HI guys .. .horizontal surfaces are not a problem .. can just lay the towel over it .. but vertical surfaces .. any special tips of methods that you all use? :D

I drape my towel over my forearm, press my forearm and towel against the side of the car, and use my other hand to smooth the towel down against the car.

to what Raymond_ho2002 is doing. I use the absorber and i basically hold one end of the absorber and smooth it down the vertical side of the car with my other hand so that I am blotting the car dry instead of 'wiping' it dry.

Good idea lolz .. if only we can make a clip to clip it onto the side of the window ;p then we can use both hands :D

I lay the towel on the side and pat it. Then I wipe the remaining spots with a microfiber.

I used one of those Big Blue towels, one of the best detailing products I have ever got my hands on. My next order will have at least 2.

For the horizontal surfaces I use a full sized bath towel. I have a big truck so by the time I'm done the towel is full of water. I'll then just use some small 100% cotton towels I have to gently blot down the side of the vehile. Sometimes if the bath towel isn't that wet, then I'll just fold it up smaller and do the same with it. Blotting does take some time though.

Sometimes I just go ahead and sheet water off the side of the vehicles using a open ended hose and a gentle stream of free flowing water. I'll then just use a microfiber towel to safely soak up the rest of the water.

I just fold my waffleweave MF towel into about 5 x 5 size and start blotting the sides. It's been working well for me.
