Any Festool people out there....have a question?

After much thought and research I finally think I found a RO I would like to buy. It is the Festool ETS 150\5. I looked at the PC (too slow, not enough power), the Festool Rotex (too expensive), Makita BO6040, Bosch 1250DEVs, etc. I think the ETS 150/5 has enough power to work faster than the PC, has a 3/16 stroke so it will cut well, is a variable speed, and is a good price between the PC to the Rotex.

Just curious if anyone has any comments, good or bad, to offer regarding this purchase. Anything I may have overlooked. Even though I prefer to get the Edge pads, I have heard good things about the LC pads. Other than that not sure if there are any other minuses.

Should the 2.6 amp motor worry me as not having enough power? Will it bog down with pressure?

Thanks,

Howard

i have the makita bo6040. i haven't used it that much yet but it's been great when i have. the downside if you want to use the edge pads is that there isn't an adapter to work with those machines. someone on here had a great pdf tutorial of how to make your own adapter, but they don't sell one themselves.
