Any downside to mixing glaze with wax?

On a whim I mixed some IW 845 with some Megs #7 yesterday and applied it to my Titanium Silver BMW using my porter cable and I am thrilled with the look. Seemed just as easy to remove, but as good as Colonite is alone on silver, this is at another level.

I feel that my metallic flake is popping even better than before plus I feel like I have real depth of reflections on silver.

Is the fact that I mixed them likely to lessen the life of the 845 to a noticeable extent?

probably around a 70/30 mix of 845 to 7. I mean, I would expect it to lessen it some, sure.

I guess what I'm curious about is the fact that the oils in the #7 sort of 'dry up/evaporate' over time and that is now sort of infused with the wax. I guess I'll see first handedly just how much durability is affected.
