Any #7 Experts Out There?

so for an upcoming show ill be in, it would be ok to apply #7 then top with S100, and day before show re apply #7 for a deep wet look? last year i was very impressed with 3M IHG, just wish i knew what i know now then, grrrr my arm nearly fell off lol

I've read that IHG is a little more aggressive than #7 and you should always top IHG with a pure glaze, then carnauba if so desired.

This coming from someone who sells alot of detailing products.

I'm testing that theory right now.

I think I have "7" pages on #7 Show Car Glaze in my upcoming how to book,

"The art of polishing paint".

You guys think your AR, wait till you read this.... ;)

How would u compare #7 vs 3M IHG as far as ease of use?? I have been using IHG for a while and find it can be difficult to use at times.

I am always looking to try something new.

However… right before a show… to make the paint look wet and to fill in hairline scratches, it is perfectly aright to apply the #7 on top of the wax, thus the name… Show Car Glaze.

So will #7 remove the coat of wax under it?

How about sealants like Klasse SG or #20?

I've read [ from megs people ] that #7 will remove some but not all of your established base wax. I guess depends on how many wax layers, type of wax and things of that nature.

7 removed all i had on my car, it left i feeling squeaky clean when i used it at the weekend. Its easyier than IHG to use, but not as easy as megs hand polish.

Well, it was squeeky clean because there was a layer on top of the wax. After the layer wore off, was the paint smooth again?
