Another use for clay!

If this a repost, shoot me :p . Our BMW 328i came with these horrendous striped on each side of the car. And to take them off ws a pain in the a** to say the least. Taking hte adhesive left over was even more of a bother, so I did a quarter of the car and left the rest. Then as I was claying the car i kept going over the leftover adhesive to find that with hardly any pressure and a lot of clay lube (or soapy water whichever you prefer) the leftover adhesive came off with ease! Try this and tell me how it goes, I suppose it could work for debadging as well instead of Goo Gone.

I tried using clay when I replaced the gold emblems on my mom's Lexus to black ones and the residue was way too tough. 3M Adhesive Remover worked much better... however, on my cousin's Civic hatch, I was able to remove the adhesive residue from the pinstripes with ease using clay, as you mentioned :)
