While I'm playing with different toys these days, I still appreciate the b-bodies :D

Those two are sharp! What kinds of mechanical mods? Are they '95 or '96?

They are both 95's. On my car i have 3.73's with an Eaton posi, performance tune, cold air intake, Bilstein performance shocks and Vogtland lowering springs. A majority of my money spent has been on exterior mods.

My brother has similar mods, 3.73's with Eaton posi, Hotchkis extended rear trailing arms, RAISS intake, Performance tune.

Thanks for the comments

S&S Detailing- Thanks for the added info, they sound great.

The '95s were always my favorites for various reasons :xyxthumbs

This reminds me that I oughta ebay my FMSs,dead pedal kits, and T-84s some day, I bet some b-body owner could put 'em to good use. I could probably put the $ to not-so-good use anyhow :chuckle:

Someday...

Heh heh "someday" is getting farther and farther away, as in "forever" when it comes to new-in-box T-84s ;)

Pity the economy tanked before I put mine up for sale.

Awesome. I was hoping this thread would be about 94-96 Impalas. I'm assuming you are all on impalassforum, too?

I've got a 92 caprice. I love the dash, door pulls, one piece door sills, and fender skirts. if it had an LT1(or better), buckets, discs, 17's, and LSD... Then that would be the most perfect car in the world to me.

A friend has a set new in the box locally. He bought two so he had one for installing all the wig-wags and strobes (which he never did) and one set on the car.

I got dibs on them!

Nice that this thread has so many people posting about their b-bodies :spot

Dope92CC- So the Impala forums are still up and running, huh?

I used to lurk there a lot, but I hardly ever posted because so many there were, uhm... just not the kind of people I want to have much to do with. I had nothing in common with them other than an appreciation of the cars.

NavyLifer and I were pretty good pals for a while (not just online), but we fell out of touch.

ZimRandy- Yeah, my T-84s are a leftover spare set too. Cool that you have some available.

Glad your pal didn't install the w-ws and strobes...too wannabe for my taste. People are doing that kinda [stuff] to Crown Vics too

Dope92CC- Heh heh, those things you mentioned that'd make your car perfect for you are just a few $'s away ;) The big thing is that you have the bodystyle that you like, everything else is easy to change by comparison.

I used to have a 95, fun car, I still miss it. The factory paint is garbage though. Mine was 3 or 4 years old when I sold it and it was already starting to flake off on the edges, must have been a Monday morning spray.

Yeah, I've heard about that. Luckily my '95s were all OK in that respect.

Mine was OK except for the bumpers. The CC started to fail about year 6 or 7, finally got the car repainted last year. I guess it's OK for another dozen years or so. I've had the thing so long now that I can't really imagine selling it.

It's not really worth anything yet, it's not old enough to be a classic, but I still like the way the windows buzz in the garage when I start it and my butt fits that seat pretty well....

The hood on mine is the worste part, it has little "pieces of rice" looking things all over it, ive seen it on one other car (a ford pickup) but i dont know what causes it. Also my ex-girlfriend in high school thought it would be a good idea to egg the car on Christmas eve, Bi*** :angry, So there are about 4 egg shell etchings in the paint in miscellaneous spots. Love the car though, and love that i can seat 5 comfortably and roast the tires off while im at it

My original hood was peppered with rock chips due to the high miles and the previous owner, so I bought a Suncoast hood rather than paint the stocker.

It is a nice hood, but needed some prep work to fit right. On the track, it will lift pretty good above 120 mph (according to the pictures). So far, so good!

If i'm seeing your hood right its the one they dont make anymore? Two nostril flares at the front, love that hood and if i could get ahold of one i would put it on there, but im pretty sure i just sold my SS :scared:
