Greetings all.:geez
I used to post on the forums all of the time. I have been detailing for almost 11 years. I am going back into business for myself after a 2 year break. I live and operate out of Clearwater Florida. For anyone in the area who has thought about doing this full-time, I have come to find in just 1 month of being open that there is a real lack of qualified detailers in this area. Seems to be just a bunch of wash and wax guys. Not to say that this is a bad thing but when one gives themselves the title of detailer, they should be just that. I called 4 listed "detailers" in the area and not one said that they could do any kind of low and or high speed buffing. I have a full book now for the next 2 months and I am looking for someone who has at least 2 or more years of experience to come work with/ and for me. I am very fair. I will pay 15 dollars an hour plus 25% of each detail completed. You must be experienced however on high-end vehicles and boats. I pay well because I believe that one should be able to take a lot of pride in one's work. Kind of hard to do that when making 10 bucks an hour. If interested, shoot me a pm. :work:
getting back to the noob thing.....:nono Been doing this for a long time and I look forward to exchanging photos with everyone on this forum and perhaps getting advice and sharing ideas. You can never stop learning. Had a 16 year old introduce me to a product recently and made me feel kind of stupid. LOL. My name is Zac Moorhouse and I look forward to yacking with you all. Take it easy.http://autopia.org/forum/images/smilies/chillpill.gif
