Another Klasse question

I was just wondering how long Klasse AIO would last without following it with SG. I'm kind of on a budget and wondering what the benefits of the SG is. Can anyone help me out?

This is debatable, but most agree that the actual protection properties of the AIO is minimal and the SG is the more durable component ( it is the actaul "sealant" ). The AIO is, IMO a really great paint cleaner that sets a really nice base for any sealant or wax topper, but not much chop protection wise.

Probably not what you want to hear but there you have it...

Thanks, I guess I will be buying the SG also. I have heard that you have to apply it a certain way for it to work, is this true? Also, is it recommended you apply the AIO and SG with a orbital buffer? Thanks for your help.

dpreuss,

There is no one 'right' way to apply SG. Many people apply and remove the product based on what they feel is easiest for them. For myself, I personally like the wipe on, wipe off (WOO) method for applying and removing SG. I started a thread a while back that outlines my own WOO technque. If you're interested, do a search and take a look. It may be something you'll find worthwhile.
