The owner of this car contacted me through my facebook page after being referred by others in the area. He let his girl friend borrow the car for a day and she thought she would do him a favor and get the car washed at a local car wash. :nomore:
He wanted the black portions of the car fixed in time to go to the Cars & Coffee down outside of Allentown for the weekend. I did a correction on the black areas, and after some additional paint work the car will be coming back in a few months for a full paint correction and protected with CQuartz Finest.
Picture just after being dropped off of the hood
This is what one trip through a car was can do to your car
Picture of the nose cone and front section of the hood. It is covered in swirls and scratches most likey from being dried with a dirty towel
50/50 shot after I decided on my combination
3/4 of the hood is compounded. The top corner where the lights are has not been done yet. Notice how flat and hazy the paint looks
How black should look after being compounded and polished
I originally just did a waterless was of the black areas that I was working on, but the owner requested to do a basic exterior on the rest of the car for the show that weekend.
Getting ready for the wash
Before picture showing dirt build up on the rear quarter and bumper
More dirt build up on the driver door
Before picture of the driver side front wheel
Brake dust build up from the performance brakes
Cleaning up the wheels and tires
Freshly washed and protected with Amerisplash
Wheels protected with Hydr02 and tires dressed with PERL
Great reflective shot of the corrected black portion of the hood
Thanks for looking!
